Lucas leads quant research at Slack, where he’s studies peoples’ attitudes about their working lives in the “new normal” and what drives users’ perceptions of Slack. Previously, Lucas led economic and policy research at Thumbtack, using surveys to better understand the local services marketplace across the US. Lucas holds a PhD in Political Science and MA in Economics from Stanford University. And he’s looking forward to sharing his thoughts on how surveys can be better leveraged to answer the questions _you_ care about, ideally over the course of a casual, 10-mile run!
